Cherie is our ranch care taker, and is specialized in equine care. She takes care of our horses: Cookie, Thunder, Mercury, Josh, Sapphire, Amethyst, Chalcedony, Ruby, Topaz, Nika, Zach; and our donkey Festus. Cherie graduated May 2019 with her Counseling Psychology Degree at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Angie graduated in 2017 from Northern Illinois University with her Masters of Science in Education in clinical mental health counseling and has received additional certificates in trauma-informed counseling (NIU, 2018) and drug and alcohol counseling (Auburn University, 2018). She has experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings that include university settings, community mental health, acute psychiatric care and stabilization, and private practice. Although she also works with adults, she specializes in working with teens, adolescents, and individuals with histories of trauma and anxiety. Working from a sliding scale, Angie sees clients on site but is also able to provide telehealth services via phone or video-based platforms.
Specializes in credentialing and billing for practitioners as well as mentoring peers in learning how to stream line back office details. Works with young children dealing with behavior issues, women and children with trauma and in crisis.
